What are vow renewals?
Vow renewals are the perfect way to celebrate your marriage and re-dedicate yourselves to each other. They are ceremonies held with a married couple in which they recite vows (similar to wedding vows) to commit themselves to one another.
If you’re celebrating a milestone anniversary (such as a 10th or 25th anniversary), why not arrange to have a vow renewal ceremony while at your destination? Many resorts offer vow renewal packages for a small fee, and it will be a cherished memory for many years to come. There’s no better way to say, “I’d marry you all over again” than renewing your vows to each other.
Vow renewal ceremonies are often held on the beach or in a small, intimate gazebo by the ocean with the couple and an officiant. If a larger audience is in attendance, a larger venue can be arranged.
Family trips can also be an excellent time to renew your vows. Family members, such as children, grandchildren, or members of the original wedding party, can participate in the ceremony, making it even more memorable.
